AMPYR is proposing to develop a state-of-the-art Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) near Kogan and Dalby within Queensland’s Western Downs region, designed to store energy for use during peak times.

The proposed project will strengthen energy reliability and grid stability during periods of peak demand. The project will support local jobs and training, and deliver lasting value for the surrounding community while meeting all local and state regulatory and safety requirements.
